The Power Styramide Signal Amplification System is one of the most sensitive methods that can detect extremely low abundance targets in cells and tissues with an enhanced fluorescence signal 10 to 50 times higher than widely used tyramide reagents (TSA). In combination with our superior fluorescent dyes that have higher fluorescence intensity, higher photostability, and higher water solubility, Stretmide conjugates labeled with fluorescent dyes can generate a fluorescence signal with significantly higher precision and sensitivity (greater than 100 times) than the ICC / IF / IHC standard.
PSA uses the catalytic activity of horseradish peroxidase (HRP) for the covalent deposition of fluorophores in situ. PSA radicals have much higher reactivity than tyramide radicals, making the PSA system much faster, more robust, and sensitive than traditional TSA reagents. Compared to tyramide reagents, stretched conjugates have the ability to target more efficiently and therefore generate a significantly higher fluorescence signal. Stretmide conjugates also allow a significantly lower consumption of primary antibodies compared to the standard method of direct conjugation or tyramide amplification with the same level of sensitivity.
